annual Summer Festival
Plans
for the 2nd Annual Summer Festival "Along the
Shores of Washabuck" are under way.
Our Summer Dance August 6th
(Pre-Highland Village
Day)
will kick off the start to the festival
which will run all week.
The Red
Cross Swim program is going to be taking place
again this year at the Washabuck beach.
It will run
from July 26th-20th to August 2nd- 5th.

Golf
Scramble
(Also known as "best ball")
As part of the Along the Shores of Washabuck
Summer Festival, on Friday, August 13th,
a group of us will be heading over to Dundee
Golf Club and Resort. Tee time is at 1pm.
After an afternoon of golf we will return to the Washabuck Community Centre for a BBQ.
The fee is $65.00 (green fees, cart and
tax already included).
Don't have golf clubs but really want to go?!?!
That's okay! Either borrow some from a friend or
why not rent
a set of golf clubs:
Dundee Pro Shop has 12 sets of the regular golf
clubs available for rental for $25.00 or for
more advanced golf clubs,
there are 6 sets
available for $40.00.
(No excuses! lol)
If you are interested please register with

we will assign you to a team
or can submit
your own team of 4. All are welcome to join regardless
of your level of experiences!

Old Pictures of Washabuck
Do you have any old pictures?
During the week of the festival, both Nikki and
Chrissy will be available to scanning any photos
that you may have. They can scan your
pictures during the Washabuck Cafe hours. The
photos will be scanned and returned back to you
immediately.
